Post Body

So essentially out of curiosity I wanted to see what plans the marketplace offered and instead ended up completing an application when I didn't have to. I am a 20 year old who is an Independent for IRS purposes and gets really good insurance through my father. It is Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal Carefirst & Anthem. My father is under carefirst I'm under Anthem due to traveling for treatment out of state. I don't want to mess up my coverage through Blue Cross, but don't know how to cancel this medicaid card. If I kept Medicaid will my Blue cross insurance work normally ? Will there be changes? Will they pay first then Medicaid? I had a provider say that Medicaid would become my Primary insurance, but I have read that the Private insurance will always be first. I live in Virginia btw I am unemployed and a full time student through odd jobs here and there I take care of my own expenses and due to the stimulus check my father stopped claiming me.
