Long story short: Aetna owes us $7,425.00

• Apply to become provider. Wait the time it takes to get approved.

• get notice in mail "Welcome to Aetna!" Here is your provider #. Go to Website A to fill out your info.

• Go to Website A. Fill out info, told to wait 15 days. Wait 15 days. Check Aetna system. Listed as Provider.

• Start Taking Aetna Patients. 1 month later, no longer listed as provider.

• Call Aetna. Told we didn't fill out the info we were suppose to on Website B. Was never told about Website B. GO to Website B, fill out into. Told to wait 15 days.

• Wait 15 days. Receive letter from Aetna, "Welcome to Aetna, please sign the following forms." Sign forms.

• Bills rejected from Aetna. Told not a provider. Give them provider number. Told its invalid because we didn't sign paperwork. Go to site for signing paperwork. Can't sign paperwork because site says we already signed it.

• Send confirmation of signed paperwork to Aetna. Told to wait 15 days. Wait 15 days. Call, they don't have the paperwork.

• Resend paperwork with delivery confirmation. Told to wait 15 days. Wait. No record of paperwork and all bills denied for seeing patients while never approved to be a provider.

• Resend and email paperwork. Confirm delivery and send copy of letter from Aetna with provider number and welcome to Aenta. Told this was sent in error. Told we must start from scratch because too much time has passed. Will be 120 days before approval.

• All charges to this point denied.

• 10 days later, receive SURVEY letter from Aenta to ALL PROVIDERS IN NETWORK with our provider # on the form.

• Dropped all Aetna patients and will never do business with Aetna EVER AGAIN.
