Question about the Fiio X1
Post Body

I got an X1 for Christmas and have been enjoying it. There are two things that are minor annoyances for me, especially since this is supposed to handle high fidelity files without breaking a sweat.

I'm curious if other people have this same thing happen with theirs. The first and biggest annoyance is during playback of 24/96 flac files it occasionally hiccups. I wonder if it's a result of my SD card being too slow but I don't think it is because my SD card is advertised with read speeds up to 80mb/s, and tests on my computer confirmed that ability.

The second thing is that when switching tracks that are in flac format there's a clicking sound.

Anybody else have this experience? I like the player a lot but wish it wouldn't hiccup during playback.

Edit: After reformatting the SD card using the player and transferring files using Foobar2000 (allows me to select the music files only, and copy them into nicely named folders), the hiccups have gone away from what I can tell. Still the occasional click in-between tracks but that's ok.
