I'm boiling in rage right now, what a way to end 2023. I've been counting the seconds for the last week waiting for them to arrive and when I open the box it was the Arya Stealth. Besides the major disappointment, the biggest problem now is that Amazon could believe that I'm trying to scam them, I contacted Amazon immediately after receiving the package and I received a mail from them saying (translated) "Since the item we shipped appears to be correct we need a photo of the item received, along a handwritten letter with the name of the account holder and the current date.

I paid €2400 for them, which is a huge amount for me and if they sounded as good as everybody says they'd be the last headphones I'd ever buy. If they don't refund me it's going to be massive financial hit for me. Sorry for the useless post, I know nobody here could provide a solution, I'm just honestly enraged and desperate and need to share it with someone since I can't talk about it at home because, even if I had received the actual HE1000SE which I paid with my own money, they would think I lost my mind for spending €2400 on a pair of headphones..

Update: after sending the pictures they replied telling me to start a return. However, the stress won't go away until I get the refund and then relive all over again making the purchase a second time. Even if everything goes fine, it's still a major disappointment. I'm on vacation since Christmas until January 8, I work on an extremely noisy industrial environment and I'm usually always tired at night. So receiving them today, after a week of silence and with another week ahead to enjoy them would have been the best possible scenario. Now everything will be delayed by a month.
