Is it worth to clear coat the Moondrop Starfield?

Planning on getting the Moondrop Starfield. The paint is absolutely beautiful but I did see in some reviews that the paint may chip or may not last. Was wondering if clear coating them would be worth it to give the paint protection. Not sure if that would mess them up in any way like the audio or if there are other things I should worry about.
