i'm finishing up my undergrad at the university of waterloo in canada and also working full time remotely as a hybrid tech writer/ux designer for a big company (european, 80k people). i've been looking at hri programs both here and in the states, and a lot of the schools i'm interested in require portfolios. all the professional work i've done is internal though, so i can't include it in my portfolio, and i'm lost at where to start in constructing one from scratch. did you take online courses or certifications with project components? are there specific sites with useful resources? is my best option to just strip out the identifying info from my professional projects and use those?
i know this has been asked before but it feels like this field is constantly changing, so i'd appreciate recent info, especially in regards to online courses i can do while i finish up my current degree.
thanks so much in advance!
