Throughout the history of HCF, there have been many betrayals, some for profit others to gain favor from others. Last night, another betrayal occured. Rouge_Shooter betrayed LightBrigade. Rather poorly.
I'll give a few tips for those hoping to betray a faction in the future.
1) Take ALL the valuables, if you can't carry all of them, make a dead drop somewhere and save the coords, have a friend carry help all "teh l00tz" with you or 3, burn everything. A simple but crucial mistake in Rouge's betrayal. The russians used it, HCF players used it against foofed, why don't we all use it to great effectiveness?
2) Empty the cash in the faction's bank. Easy enough, right?
3) Before you go forward with your plan, conscript help from others. Your new factionmates, hostile factions to the faction you just betrayed, ect. That way your betrayal can be all the more effective! Open up holes in the ceilings and walls, making it so that you can easily raid the faction again, and again, and again!
4) If someone in the faction is a great help or contribution to the faction, try looking for his hidden chest that he has hinted about for 2-3 weeks. Isn't it a bit suspicious when he mines quite a bit, enchants and grinds "24/7" and he only has potions and a couple picks in his chest? They could say, have a row of u3 books 3 sets of p4u3 armor and a stack or so of diamond blocks.
5) Destroy all their sources of exp and food. Without food and exp, people are crippled. Enough said.
To the newer players of HCF, here is your guide to betraying!
