Never seen Deadwood, Carnivale, or Rome. Do they hold up today? Which one should I start with?
Post Body

I love me some HBO and have seen pretty much all of its series’ episodes except for these three! I was really young when they came out and time passed and never got around to them. I’ve always heard such great things about all 3 but I’m wondering how they hold up or if I just kind of missed the boat and should move on? What show should I start with out of the three?

How have I never heard of this Banshee show? Definitely adding it to my list. But I think three seasons(and a movie) was a good length for Deadwood. I thought Supernatural was decent, but definitely could’ve been much shorter. Though some of it was almost episodic, so those can definitely extend longer than shows like Deadwood

Ah, interesting. Definitely seeing polarizing options on that Banshee show, haha

But yeah Deadwood is a top five show for me, absolutely loved it. Would’ve preferred it ended naturally instead of having to use a movie to end it many years later, but oh well.
