The state legislature in Texas has been hard at work making sure teens are scraping together an existence in the 'gig' economy. SB 315 hasn't received as much attention as the one elevating soliciting to a felony, it raises the age to work at a strip club to 21.
I think this law is ridiculous, but so is this statement by the teenage stripper.

Sex workers' fortunes seem to fluctuate between $20k/month and homelessness about as rapidly and dramatically as their bipolar disorder.
It raises it to 21, not 18.
But sure let’s have some fun at the mentally ill chronically homeless teenagers who resort to sex work because shockingly they’re not great with finances.
