I have always wondered what peoples first time experience was like. And what advice can you give to first timers wanting to visit.
The first hour felt odd. Not nervous, just alien. I’m pretty comfortable with my body and nudity, but it was the first time seeing a community of people who think the same way. I rushed to take my clothes off because it felt awkward being the only one wearing clothes. Then I secured my stuff and went to swim. I felt instant relief once my clothes was off. Now I blended in.
After the first hour I noticed it’s not too awkward. Everyone looks the same naked, especially at a distance. Only really awkward thing is the surprising amount of tourists who go in the water for sex or whatnot. I got over that quickly because…well, they finished quickly.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Makes me wonder why more nude beaches don’t exist. It’s still awkward wearing clothes there though, so I take off my clothes the second my feet passes the barrier. You just stand out way too much, but naked you blend in. What started as a curious experience I always wanted to try and now my preference. Haulover ruined beaches for me, because now I can’t swim at them without the urge to do it naked. My swimsuit feels icky to me now.
