Can you get finish a page after an event is over?

Event runestones continue to give event stickers after the event ends. Event portkeys do the same.
Has anyone not been able to finish a sticker during an event, but had enough supplies, and finished it after the fact?
Eg, perhaps you finish all the event tasks, you get all the RSBs, but you haven't finished walking that last portkey. The event ends, but of course the portkey is going to keep going. If you have 4/5 stickers, will the page complete when the portkey finishes, or is it worthless?
