- Voldemort’s spirit.
In book 1, he has taken over Quirrell and used him as a host. However, later we see him hunt and kill unicorns and drink their blood with a seemingly physical body? How? If he was a mere spirit, how was he doing this? The movie might not be an accurate representation but he did not look like any spirit. Was he using Quirrel’s body? Could he leave him at will? When did he even take over his body? Also, how exactly would the philosopher’s stone have granted him a new body? I mean, he was already immortal thanks to his horcruxes.
- The diary
So at the end of book 2 we see Voldemort almost resurrected, using Ginny. However, that was just a horcrux/memory, wasn’t it? If he was to succeed then and there, would there have been two Voldemorts existing at the same time? One young with no memories after he was put into the diary, and of current Voldemort? Like he wasn’t even aware that he had died, was he? This makes no sense.
