Does anyone remember the leaked "carpet copy" of Deathly Hallows?

I was thinking about this recently and I realized everyone I talk to about this irl has no idea what I'm talking about. But then I thought, this group should know and maybe others read it too.
This article explains what happened way better than I could.
Did you know about the leak? Did you read it? Were you torn? I just want to know thoughts and feelings on this, because I read it immediately and didn't hesitate. It was so hard, because the beginning and end were so warped that it was super hard to read, but I did it.
