Has anybody read the book "The Science of Harry Potter."??

I subscribe to a mailing list on Amazon that sends out book deals every day. One of today's deals is the book "The Science of Harry Potter" that supposedly tackles some stuff about pigeons being better than owls or the science of spells. It's cheaper than normal, but, I'm on a student budget and every dollar I spend is important.
Those of you who have read the book what do you think about it? Is it worth purchasing?
