Do you think Harry might have gone to Dumbledore about Umbridge and her detentions if he hasn’t felt so angry and abandoned by him at that point?

Post Body

When Ron suggests going to him, Harry just instantly shuts it down saying Dumbledore has enough to worry about but the real reason he isn’t going to go is as Dumbledore hadn’t really spoken to him or looked at him since the night of the third task and Harry is upset about that. I think Harry would still have that mindset of I am going to handle this myself and I don’t want to give her the satisfaction of getting to me but maybe if he wasn’t feeling so upset with Dumbledore he might have been a little more open to the suggestion of going to him than he was at that point in the book.

Comments

I think it still would have taken a bit, but yes I think he would have eventually gone to Dumbledore if he hadn't been ignoring Harry up to that point.
