People probably asked this before me, but I'll still ask it anyway
I know Dumbledore claims that his intention with Snape killing him was that he would die âundefeatedâ and the Elder Wand would never have a new owner, but even if that had worked I donât believe he truly thought Voldemort would understand that. I think he told Snape to kill him knowing that would set him up to be killed by Voldemort.
Voldemort did not know about the elder wand when Dumbledore died, and he wasnât looking for it.
I never said he did, but Dumbledore knew that he probably would find out about it sooner or later which is why he created the plan for his death in the first place.

I think Dumbledore thought the part of his plan about who had control of the Elder Wand would work so it would never actually belong to Voldemort, but I think he knew that Voldemort would assume it belonged to Snape and kill him anyway. I think he knew that whoever killed him would be in danger if Voldemort found out about the Elder Wand and he chose to have Snape kill him because he was trying to protect Draco because he believed that if Voldemort was defeated that Draco deserved a chance to live.
