I bought a 16 string lyre harp and I enjoy playing around with it but I'm having trouble finding learning resources. I mostly only see regular harp tutorials or a lyre with way more strings or something. Regualar harps seem to have a lot of differences to a lyre so I cant figure out how to gain any information from these. I also cant find a good resource on learning to hold and strum a lyre the correct way. (I assume there is one) I really wanna just play around and try and play stuff by ear (I cant read music) but I'm afraid of learning bad habits due to no knowledge and having to unlearn them later.
Also I can tune my lyre fairly well but theres like...this ONE string that just sounds off to me even tho my tuner says it's good. Its also more loose than the others which gives it a odd sound when plucked with more than just light force. Is this normal?? I have no musical experiance or teachings but Ir really does seem off compared to the other notes.
