I was having problems with metamask recently and it turned out to be a clash between brave wallet and metamask. As part of the trouble shooting, i removed and re-installed metamask, making sure I had my seed phrase. However; my harmony wallet was on another account within metamask, I didn't realise that my seed phrase only works for the main account, and that I should have saved a json file or saved the private key (which I now guess is not the same thing as writing down one's seed phrase).

I think you can understand where this is going.

Have I lost all my harmony assets? Does metamask not save the private key somewhere on my computer, in a cookie or something?
