I have been playing for a few months now and I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of it. But, now my 4hole isn't sounding at all. I opened my Harmonica up and gave it a good cleaning. Put it back together, and still nothing.
I opened it up again after reading something about widening or shortening the gap of the reed. I gently pushed on it and widened the gap so it matched the 1,2,3 hole reeds.
Put it back together, and now I can get a really thin, low, raspy sounding noise some of the time on the 4 draw, but most of the time nothing.
Is my Harmonica broken? Do I need a new reed plate? Have I done something wrong?
Thanks a ton for any replies in advance!
edit: I have a Hohner Special 20 in the key of C
