Looking for story with Stoic character as the lead.

I’m looking for a book or series with a stoic type character, silent and gruff type if you will.
Stayed away for a bit and came to genre but I keep finding goofball and woe is me MC’s.
Been looking for a story where a character is like Conan or book Aragorn.
Any recs? Doesn’t necessarily need to be fantasy just something that isn’t a rinse and repeat college student, angst ridden immortal or Isekai unemployed guy.
