This is my first post in this sub. I've read the rules enough times now to thoroughly confuse myself. But I think I have the gist of it down. So basically the last component I need to finish up my kiddos build is a GPU of the 1080 caliber. I understand the current GPU market is being thrown for a loop due to Crypto but I just can't afford those prices. Depending on the offered GPU I have anywhere from $400 to $600 to spend. That seems reasonable for those cards, used. Feel free to correct me if I am way off base there, however.
Thanks everyone.
Yeah. we're talking 1920x1080 here. On my 1080, none ti, 1st gen Ryzen 5 1600, 16GB and NVME...I can do a mix of high/ultra in 2077 with around 50 FPS average, so I can imagine a TI on similar HW would be that much better.
/u/Mychxl I fear my price range may have been to wide? I guess I am just a bit jaded from all the well over $1k prices for GPUs I seem to see everywhere and thought my range would be too low, even laughed at.
