Question regarding PSUs
Post Body

I am building a computer for the first time, I have been doing research for a couple weeks and I am feeling pretty confident about it now. I have just one major concern, the PSU.

I calculated it out and I need a minimum of 600W to accomplish what I am trying to do. Would it be better to get a little more just to be safe or is it pointless?

Also, I have a fear of the PSU frying my other components. I am spending quite a bit of cash on this and I would really like my other components to be totally safe in case of failure. What are some things I should look out for?

My full build, slightly revised
