Is Hardstyle nowadays too loud?

Me as an "old" veteran finds all the new stuff, especially the raw way too loud. I can really enjoy a well balanced mix which gives tracks more depth imo. I know its made for big speakers etc. but aren't producers experimenting with this anymore? Any opinions? Do you think there needs to be less loudness in Hardstyle? Have a nice day!
