There's a themed Halloween party being put on by one of the deaf societys in my state. And it looks like it would be really fun to go to it says it's open to deaf hard of hearing and familys. I'm nervous about going because I'm still learning ASL and ik I'm going to get overwhelmed trying to sign with people but it seems like great practice and like it might be a lot of fun the organizers have added there contact info on post about it and said if anyone has any questions to reach out should I reach out? should I go? I feel kinda like it's not my place but my dad who knows no ASL said he would take me.
