Card Discussion: Sword of the Meek
Post Body

[[Sword of the Meek]]

http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=sword of the meek

is it just me or is this a spicy sleeper card being over looked? recurring artifact for ravager/throne of geth, comes back off animation module, hangarback walker thopters, and steel overseer. If we don't have scales out, all our creatures bring it back save for metallic mimic.

what's more with it in the grave and playing a steel overseer it becomes a bit of free protection against gutshot.

I need clarification here but with sword of the meek I think we can shot gun it back and forth from the graveyard for how ever many thopter tokens come into play off a sacrificed hangarback walker.EG: Hangarback walker has 4 counters on it, sac to ravager, 4 creatures come into play, sword of the meek targets all of them, bring back the sword with each target on the stack sacrifice the sword and recur to the next creature before equip happens. Please let me know how I am wrong here because this seems really broken.

What is everyones thoughts? I'm going to be trying it out, and going to go find out proper rulings for it.

Edit: The ruling for multiple creatures does not work for bringing the sword back multiple times as it becomes a new object once it changes zones from graveyard to play. Does still work off animation module ravager for how ever much mana we have, making x 1/1's and putting x 1/ 1 counters on ravager. and getting the sword back in play attached to a servo for surprise blocks.
