Commune with Gods instead of Ancient Stirrings.
Yes it is 2 mana, but it gets hardened scales as well as any of the creatures. Admittedly it does not get lands, but how many times do you remember being happy to get a land off of it? Most of the times it's been tears over missing on Hardened Scales or two being put on the bottom. I tend to play stirrings mid game to get a missing piece of for the kill. There is normally enough material to play for the first three turns anyways. IMO Hardened Scales are so important for the deck... is it worth testing?
