On a recent post calling out Sebastian Rodriguez for his controversial views on the LGBTQ community. As a firm believer in Freedom of Speech, I defended Sebastian on the basis that he was entitled to his own opinion and views and that he wasn’t hurting or killing anyone. It turned into a much bigger argument on Free Speech and LGBTQ rights. In hindsight I should’ve realized that my political views had no place in a Subreddit revolving around a cartoon web series. I had violated the rule regarding Out of Show Politics, and upset many people. I had the post deleted in order to avoid causing a bigger problem for the subreddit. I feel like I did the right thing by doing so. To the people I angered with my conduct, I am very sorry. As a result I will take a temporary break from my moderator duties on r/happytreefriends to reflect on my own actions.

Again I am very sorry, and I hope all of you can forgive me.
