Ice dams
Post Body
We live in northern Ontario and purchased a home in November last year, being our first winter. We have huge ice dams that have built up with icicles almost touching the ground. In the spring I plan to add extra insulation and proper ventilation in the attic to solve this solution going forward.
What can I do right now to help avoid any damage caused by the excess weight and water? Thankfully still cold but springs coming and last thing I want is water to start pouring in.
