Normally I work by the hour when I’m doing side work, but I don’t feel like doing it hourly would be worth my time and I’d rather quote the job as a whole. What would you charge to plumb up to a toilet flange and connect to the vent, add the three floor joists homeowner removed, install one 5/8 sheet and one 3/8 sheet of plywood, then install missing Sheetrock? The entire area would have to be prepped meaning cleaning out all the old nails, squaring off and removing any plywood in the way. All of these things I do on a daily basis, but for someone else so I’m not normally quoting jobs aside from hourly estimates. Thanks in advance
