Hello I just wanted to ask all of you how do you figure out pricing? I’m just starting out and the way I’m thinking of doing it is charging 120 for almost every service that i do and if they have multiple things to be done or if it’s more than a 1 hour job I would just add $80 to the job. Things I do include unclogging drains, repairing leaks, replacing sinks, fixing toilets, small patch work, replacing electrical fixtures, and other small handy man stuff but want to focus mostly in plumbing. For example if I come out to unclog a simple sink drain it would be 120 but if I have to bring out the big snake and snake drain/main drain line then I would charge about 200. Another example is if I come out to fix a leak if it’s a simple drain I would charge 120 but if I have to soldier or pro press I would charge 200 What are your thoughts? And is this legal in California since it’s all less than 500 dollars?
