Are antique "Worth" wood chisels any good?
Comments
With oldies it's always the same, on average you'll find way better irons but when you bump on a lemon it's a really bitter one. Most of those you'd find won't be ground near what is advised or admitted today yet if you keep their stock angle you'd be amazed. Handles can be dead but replacing one of those is a couple of hours of work and highly advised (don't bother with a top ferule I've never seen one useful)
