Hi, I bought a cheap Amazon tongue drum to gauge whether it would be something that captured my attention or not. Turns out it has and am thinking I’d like to get a quality handmade instrument with more clarity and overtones.
So far, I’ve found Kosmosky and Nova drums are the ones that have caught my eye/ear.
Do you recommend one over the other and are there any others I should consider if looking at these two makers?
I also am having a tough time deciding on scale too. Any thoughts on what might offer the most versatility in terms of keeping the creative juices flowing and not feeling like improv ideas limited?
Thanks!
