there was a great post a few days ago asking if the experience of finding and desiring a new bag being more enjoyable than when you actually acquire the bag was something other people had found as well.. for the record, no one ever is alone and having a unique experience, we're all mostly the same but I digress.. I jokingly responded with a screen grab of a quick google search about Buddhism, whose main tenant is that suffering arises from frustrated desires and then has some suggestions about dealing with that, if you care to read further.. lol.. anyway, why am i stoned rambling? 2 reasons.. first, I did, under the influence of you beautiful enablers, buy a very expensive mlouye mini flex that is undeniably gorgeous but nevertheless left me slightly underwhelmed.. it was a curious feeling i acknowledged at the time with a chuckle about how silly we are.. people, i mean.. but secondly, bc i just got an email that my first coach bag, a lori shoulder in black and pewter arrives tomorrow, and i am so excited!! i pulled the trigger after 6 months of thinking about it and i suspect that this bag, which i intend to make my daily bag, is not going to leave me feeling meh.. we shall see..
