not me asking another question on here as I anxiously wait to be able to get my first hamster.
I am getting an aquarium off of craigslist to use for my hamster, since it is second hand and I’m pretty sure it was actually used as a home for fish - I want to make sure it is clean and safe.
I assume bleach would be too strong to use. I’ve heard using vinegar is a good choice, but I want to ensure there is nothing icky in the tank. I have an all natural disinfectant cleaner I could use?
I want to clean it very thoroughly but I obviously don’t want to make my future hamster sick.
also, the tank will have time to “air out” after cleaning it, since I wont be getting my hamster until next week.
