For a twmporary setup until you're sure they're not ill, I think the amount of bedding is greatโ€“ but despite the fact that this tank is only going to be used briefly, I think it would be best to get an enclosure with more surface area to run around anyhow.

Keeping hammies for their "seclusion" period to make sure they don't have any ailments and whatnot can actually take several weeksโ€“ which is much too long for them to spend in a tank with such little room to run around and explore. This is true for any species, but it is ESPECIALLY the case if you plan to adopt a Sirian (Female Sirians are even more high maintenance than males and WILL escape this small setup or die trying).

I know large enclosures get pricey, so I would look around your local facebook marketplace/craigslist listings or similar platforms for a temp tank at a minimum 40 breeder size.

I srcond this! An appropriately sized wheel would be especially important if you can't get your hands on a bigger wnclosure prior to bringing them home (highly recommended)

Of course!! I'd love to see pics of them and their future setup posted down the line too. :))
