Update: Thank you to everyone who answered!! After putting on the ridgeline AND setting the suspension higher up, it was actually pretty comfortable and did not swallow me up like it had done before!
I recently upgraded from the standard ENO hammock. I'm 5"3' and I ordered an 11ft hammock. I can't really explain my logic other than that 11ft didn't seem THAT long and I was more focused on fabric and durability... I really like the hammock but after getting it and trying to set it up, it seems too long. Could I just shorten it by tying the ends with the suspension cord more inwards? Is that even a thing?? I don't want to return it for another one if there's a way around it.
(I feel silly but I have been having a bad few weeks and a lot on my plate, and I know I should have paid more attention to the length.)
