Hamilton is to my son what Les Mis was to me

I have an 11-year-old obsessed with Hamilton (as am I) and it's been so fun to watch his interest piqued in Broadway as a whole.

Last night we watched the movie version of Les Mis, and I told him about how I wore out the cassette tape soundtrack in 4th grade and named my pet fish Marius, Cosette, and Eponine. My best friend had a Les Mis shirt her mom got on a business trip to NYC, and I was sooo jealous! (This was pre-internet shopping, obviously.)

It was so much fun to share memories, and also to imagine that maybe someday he'll be watching the Hamilton movie with is own kids :). Any other Hamilton parents who were obsessed with Les Mis as kids? Or another show?
