Aim assist is so wonky and wierd for this halo
Post Body

I've never had any complaints with the other halo title games, getting headshots was never an issue, jumping and landing your 4 or 5 headshots with the DMR or BR was the thing to do.

From what I have noticed in playing over 100 ranked matches so far is that aim assist at very close ranges is INCREDIBLY strong, like crazy strong. Another problem Is that it doesn't focus on the head, it focuses on the center chest which means spraying with the assault rifles is more efficient than landing skill shots with the battle rifle, which doesn't make sense for a halo game. I feel like I'm constantly battling the aim assist when using the battle rifle or pistol, at close range or I'm flining my reticle around like a dopped up monkey at mid/long range.

Sniping at long range, or using the battle rifle at mid range is insanely difficult and practically useless.

In my opinion they need to reduce the aim assist for close range fights and put that reduction into improving mid-long range aim assist.

I have a long list of complaints as in my opinion it doesn't feel "haloey" at all. Off topic but I glide through players all the time when I melee, vehicles feel wierd to drive sliding around everywhere... and the chopper doesn't chop, it feels very underpowered.
