I think he’s still a cool character, his voice is so harsh and brutal, I love it. but I would have bawled my eyes out for a Cortana voice 🥹
I had him at the start, they discontinued it, I made a change on another device by accident and it wiped it account wide. I was pissed for weeks. someone had the data uploaded and I was gonna add Chief back, but now he’s back 🥹 so you could switch but you would need a backup of all of the voice lines to manually upload
Hit the three bars at the top left, and then select pick a sidekick.
Like google maps but way better for crowdsourced data, I get better reports of traffic, speed traps, weather conditions and so on. Absolute life saver, and you can customize it so you can have Chief of Escharum guide you 😃
💜 you can always get CarPlay head units that use Waze as well.
You can keep it if you don’t change it. I accidentally lost mine and I was so mad. I’m so happy it’s back!

You should be able to keep it I think, as long as you don’t change it. I have the last voice lines saved just in case of this. I’ll have to get the new ones.

Yes. But google kinda shuns it, even though it’s far better.
99% of the time yes. I still have to check the end place I want to go sometimes to make sure I got the right one, and it won’t show reviews, but I’m I’m going medium or long distance drives it’s especially better. traffic reporting and road hazards from crowd sourced data is 1000% better.
Absolutely. There is always the backup customer voice that you can import his voice back in if need be 🙂
