Whenever I play infinite PvP I always notice the lack of a pump shotgun. Every single time I encounter a sword and hammer I think welp there’s nothing I can do here and die where as in every other halo game I know that there should be a shotgun on the map somewhere to counter but in infinite it’s absence sticks out like a sour thumb. Now 343 decided to replace the shotgun and scattershot with the bulldog which is a weapon I actually like, however it doesn’t fill the same role in the sandbox as the classic weapon as it takes multiple shots to bring down an enemy as opposed to the classic shotgun which if you time it right can one shot any would be sword and hammer user.

If the leaked weapon coming to the game is true and we are going to get new sandbox weapons, this should absolutely be at the top of the list as out of every old weapon that should come back this one would fill a void that no other weapons can fill. I personally don’t think it’s enough to just nerf the hammer, we need this back. Still Can’t believe it is the first halo game in the franchises 20 years. If you want me to spend more money on your game 343 we need more sandbox additions
