Good place to start with Halo novels?

This selection of halo books are available as a bundle for a fairly good deal (£29) are they a good place to start with Halo books? I have played all of the games but have not read any of the other books.
I'm just looking for a way to drive deeper in to a sci fi world that I find so fascinating, thanks for any opinions! :)
