Back in the glory days of Halo 3, the boys and i used to always ride the warthog into the big team battles. I was always the driver and i loved every second of it. Reach came along and we were at it once again it with the addition of Firefight. Those days are long gone now and we’ve all moved in different directions with life.
I was a bit lost when Infinite came out as the issues were everywhere and the frustration with the bugs genuinely upset me as I’ve been a huge fan since i first played Combat Evolved in 2001. Infinite’s Firefight lets me tailwhip my way through a pack of grunts once again and it’s actually been therapeutic. My fiancée occasionally plays too and she jumps on the gun, but sometimes i go in solo and get some encouraging messages that remind me of the old days with the boys.
