27 year old male. Big Halo fan. Born in 1996.
First played Halo 2 in 2008 on my Dads new computer. Fell in love. The campaign. The multiplayer. The mods. The maps. Never knew a game could be so fun and replayable both online and offline.
From there I got an Xbox and no lifed every single halo title and had hours of fun.
Anyway I’m married now, have a 1 year old and work as a Corporate Lawyer. Life is taxing but I still game. It’s my little escape from the stresses of the world.
When Infinite launched I was really let down. Can’t believe what a half baked pile of junk we were given. I didn’t play longer than a month.
Logged on last night after seeing good feedback from YouTubers and on Reddit and yeah…. Halo is (almost) back. I played for 4 hours straight. A mix of Husky Raid, Custom Games, BTB and whatever the 8v8 playlist is called. Had a heck of a lot of fun.
That same euphoric feeling I got when I used to play Halo 2 was there. I can’t wait to finish work today and play again tonight lol.
343 hope you’re understanding what Halo really is
Shout out to all the community map makers the OG map remakes and new maps are incredibly impressive
P.S.
The XP system still needs work, please mirror more towards the Halo reach style of getting XP. The challenge system and the XP cap leaves a lot to be desired.
