Update: Owner found, in the process of getting it back to him. I was right; sat in that snowbank for two weeks, haha.
I was walking home today on Robie and found an iPhone 7 peering out of a snowbank oddly enough. Judging by the notification dates it could very well have been in there for awhile and just showed itself from the melting snow in the nice weather lately (it was also very dead).
It has no service, despite having a SIM card, and the IMEI is not blocked/reported as stolen. I took the SIM out and used mine, and it provided service, but won't connect to Siri unless I input the passcode (which I obviously don't have). And the aforementioned notifications provided no hints whatsoever unfortunately.
I've lost an iPhone before and it sucks, so I'd love to find the owner. PM me with details about the iPhone if you would like to claim it (color, Plus or non-Plus, cell carrier, wallpaper, and any other details you can provide) or can put me in touch with the owner.
