Post Body

We're still trying to bond our two rabbits, Creme and Ann, after another rabbit of ours unfortunately passed away in September. Things were originally okay, but after the passing things took a sour turn, both with bonding and Creme, the one who was originally bonded to Oreo, misbehaving. Both are fixed; Creme was fixed in June, Ann in October.

When we try to bond, it seems like they want to kill each other. No grunting, but a lot of boxing, pulling out fur, and at best cold shouldering. However, they can be fighting and, when one is put in an enclosure where they can see and sniff each other but only really paw at most, the one free roaming will often zoom, binky, or even sploot near the enclosure. And for example, right now, Creme is out while Ann is in a separate room. He can smell her on the carpet, and keeps sniffing that spot, doing binkies, then returning to sniff again. What is going on? Do they hate each other? Are we misinterpreting play?
