Like most on here, I have introduced many people to deeper cuts of hair metal they never would have heard otherwise.

It usually plays out the same way- having a lady friend in the car while heading somewhere, finding out she likes a metal ballad or two, and leading them down a rabbit hole of great but lesser known tunes she never would have heard.

I have a childish guilty pleasure when I am doing so- playing tunes and having them marvel at how nice they are.... I always slip in one of 2 songs mid stream that makes them double take and go "what?!?!?"

I will toss in anthrax N.F.B. (Dallabnikufesin), or Adam Sandler at a medium pace.

Can anyone think of any other tunes that start off like a nice melodic ballad that then throws a left hook out of nowhere that I can work in to my list?
