Just a fun little plotting exercise. You’re tasked with building a team that will be able to attend and hopefully win Nationals.

You need to follow three rules though:

• You can’t pick more than one person from one team. Ex: you can’t get both Yamaguchi and Tanaka since they’re both from Karasuno
• You can’t pick any of the top 5 spikers
• You can’t pick anyone who attended the All-Japan Youth Training Camp e.g Miya Atsumu, Hoshiumi Kourai

With that said, I’d go with:

• Setter: Kenma. He’s good at tactics and reading opponents.
• MB: Tsukishima! Another brainy type. I imagine he’ll get along well with Kenma.
• MB: Tendou. His wild blocking will contrast Tsukishima’s systematic blocking and throw the opponents for a loop.
• WS: Kita. He’s good at defense and he’ll make sure no one will slack.
• WS: Gao. He’ll be the two-meter cannon of the team.
• WS: Terushima. With Kita keeping him in check, his versatility will be tough to deal with.
