So a couple of days ago I posted a question regarding the RX 5300 compatibility. It's a card that was a default OEM product two years ago in HP machines and is currently sold within the current XPS and Alienware desktops.
Apple obviously used the RX 5300M and is currently using the RX 5300 Pro in their iMac's so I figured these cards would work and after some work around them I managed to get one of them to boot and accelerate.
I've got two cards - a device id 0x7340 OEM by Dell and a device id 0x7341 OEM by HP. I'll focus on the Dell since that one doesn't require a fakeID but gets recognized with the adgpmod=pikera
So obviously the card doesn't get recognized as the RX 5300 but the Radeon Navi14. Hackintool sees it as a RX 5500/5500M/W5500. Hackintool reports 3 ports. Only the HDMI port works though.
Ioreg doesn't name the card but shows the PEG0@1 and GFX0@0 but it's also listed as Navi14 in ioreg. Audio over HDMI works fine so the only things left to work around are the ports. Obviously CSM is disabled so I'd appreciate any help with enabling the DP ports. Port configuration is 2xDP, 1xHDMI. Do I fakeID regardless to make sure it gets recognized as the RX 5500 XT or do I work around ports with whatevergreen? Any input welcome <3
