Is it possible to get the LG Ultrafine 5k display working with a Hackintosh?

LG's new 5k display is one I'd love to pick up. It's not matte unlike every other 5k monitor (I hate matte), it's a quality display and the price is pretty great.

That being said I know it was created pretty heavily with the new MacBook Pros in mind and their Thunderbolt 3 / USB-C implementation.

Is this something you could feasibly get working with a Hackintosh? Perhaps even in a dual monitor configuration?

Or are the AMD Polaris chips in the new MBPs the needed detail that would be hard to replicate? Would you be able to use RX 460s with a TB3 motherboard and a 6700k?
