Hi there,
I am still fairly new to the Hackintosh scene and awhile back, I've managed to install Mavericks on my Hackintosh. Recently, I updated my copy of Mavericks to the 10.9.5, and realized it broke my audio drivers (I've tried reinstalling them but to no avail. There is no sound anymore). However, I've read that the audio driver issue was resolved when upgrading to Yosemite, and I've been considering for awhile now that I should update my Hackintosh. However, I am not sure whether or not I should update all the way to El Capitan or Yosemite, and the details on the entire update process. From what I understand, the combo updates are the best solution, but is there anything else I should be aware of when upgrading? I am currently using Chimera for my bootloader.
